Passen en meten

Ik hoop maar dat je van de muziek genoten hebt...Heb je al bedacht wat je gaat doen? Zo heel onwaarschijnlijk is het niet hoor, dat je een jas vindt gemaakt van stof die erbij past! Geeft je ook nog een kans om er meer ROZE in te verwerken, wat de kans dat Isabelle 'm mooi gaat vinden natuurlijk ook doet toenemen. En wie weet krijgen we het met een paar truuks toch nog passend dit weekend, alleen dat is echt iets waarvoor ik in den lijve aanwezig moet zijn aangezien dat soms een beetje ingewikkeld is. We zullen zien!

i thought, if i manage to cut out the fabric by the time you arrive, then maybe your very presence would be the kick in the butt i require to move on with this. i got the children and husbands all out of the house, put on some nice music. finally finished unraveling the coat, and got all my paper bits ready. and guess what? they don't fit!!!!! i have tried out all mathematical combinations. i don't understand how it's possible that a child-coat size 98 does not fit into a woman-size coat size 40, but there it is. what now? a) finding the same coat in the kringloop? (odds rather low) b) finding another coat of similar texture and making it a two-colour affair? (odds rather low because weight of fabric would have to be extremely similar) c) forgetting about old coat and getting other fabric? (yes, but not allowed, unless at kringloop, so odds rather low especially since only a few days left) d) give up and think of today's afternoon as an afternoon of listening to nice music?
